Welcoming to parents

Parents are welcome to join in their child’s playgroup session. If you are interested, please see a member of staff who would be happy to book you a time in the diary. All help is appreciated, and it is a chance to see what your child gets up to!

We have a half termly newsletter which will keep you up to date on upcoming events, activities and special notices.

Every child in our care has a dedicated keyperson, who will ensure your child’s needs are properly assessed and addressed, and is your first point of contact   if you have any concerns or queries . If your child has been allocated sessions in Playgroup they are eligible to start regardless of being potty trained.

We have extensive experience in dealing with special educational needs and can offer help, advice and support and if necessary request referrals if further assistance is required.

Prices

We aim to keep our prices as low as possible. Prices are £6.50 per session (rising to £8.50 for each session over the maximum funded allowance of 12.5 hrs/week), plus £2.50 per half term for materials.

Government funding is available for all children in the term following their 3rd birthday. If you have any queries, please contact us and we will be happy to help

Educational resources

We have a wide range of books, toys, games and computer based learning to help your child’s development.

We also have themes for each half term with related activities  and games

snacks

All children are provided with a healthy snack during the session.

Latest news & notes

The theme for the half term will be “Holidays”. It would be lovely if your child would like to bring in an item from home relating to the topic to show the others at circle time.

You are all invited to our Bluebell Activity Day on 17th July from 12-2pm at Southcott Lower school field

From September we are introducing the choice of 3 hr sessions, the current 21/2 hr session will still be available at a slightly increased price of £7. The price for 3 hrs will be £8.40. Funding is available for eligible 3 year olds as usual for both sessions.

Session Times from September

Monday to Friday:

2.5 hour sessions:

09.15 – 11.45,  12:45 – 3.15

3 hour sessions:

08.45 – 11.45,  12.15 – 3.15
