About our playgroup Bluebell Playgroup is situated in a large new, purpose built facility in the grounds of Southcott Lower School. We have been operating at this school since 2003, and have grown with the school in that time. Welcoming to parents

Parents are welcome to join in their child’s playgroup session. If you are interested, please see a member of staff who would be happy to book you a time in the diary. All help is appreciated, and it is a chance to see what your child gets up to!

We have a half termly newsletter which will keep you up to date on upcoming events, activities and special notices.

Every child in our care has a dedicated key person, who will ensure your child’s needs are properly assessed and addressed, and is your first point of contact   if you have any concerns or queries . If your child has been allocated sessions in Playgroup they are eligible to start regardless of being potty trained.


We have extensive experience in dealing with special educational needs and can offer help, advice and support and if necessary request referrals if further assistance is required.

Prices

We aim to keep our prices as low as possible. Prices are £7.00 per 2 1/2 hr session £8.40 for 3 hr session plus £2.50 per half term for materials. Sessions are £10 per session for children eligible for funding if funding isnt used.

Government funding is available for all children in the term following their 3rd birthday. If you have any queries, please contact us and we will be happy to help

Educational resources

We have a wide range of books, toys, games and computer based learning to help your child’s development.

We also have themes for each half term with related activities  and games

We return to Bluebell Playgroup on Wednesday 7th September. Induction for new starters is 10.00-10.30 am on Tuesday 6th September.


We offer two sessions, a  21/2 hr session at a price of £7. The price for 3 hrs is £8.40. Funding is available for eligible 3 year olds as usual for both sessions.

Monday to Friday:

09.15 – 11.45,  12:45 – 3.15

3 hour sessions:

08.45 – 11.45,  12.15 – 3.15
