About Our Playgroup

Bluebell Playgroup is situated in a large, purpose built facility in the grounds of Southcott Lower School. We have been operating at this school since 2003, and have grown with the school in that time. We offer 2.5 and 3 hour sessions, and the fees can be seen here.

Welcoming to parents

Parents are welcome to join in their child’s playgroup session. If you are interested, please see a member of staff who would be happy to book you a time in the diary. All help is appreciated, and it is a chance to see what your child gets up to! We have a half termly newsletter which will keep you up to date on upcoming events, activities and special notices.

Child Centered

Every child in our care has a dedicated key person, who will ensure your child’s needs are properly assessed and addressed, and is your first point of contact if you have any concerns or queries . If your child has been allocated sessions in Playgroup they are eligible to start regardless of being potty trained. We have extensive experience in dealing with special educational needs and can offer help, advice and support and if necessary request referrals if further assistance is required.

Educational Resources

We have a wide range of books, toys, games and computer based learning to help your child’s development.

Snacks

All children are provided with a healthy snack during the session.
